We use high-quality materials, including but not limited to: sterling silver, solid copper, solid brass, gold plated, silver plated, stainless steel and semi-precious gemstones.
Many of the metals used in our jewellery are plated to enhance their appearance and durability. Plating involves coating the base metal with a thin layer of a more precious metal, such as gold, silver, or copper, to give it a polished and refined look. This process not only improves the visual appeal but also adds an extra layer of protection against tarnishing and wear. Over time, with regular use, plating may gradually fade, but proper care can help maintain its beauty for longer.
Each piece is thoughtfully crafted with durability and beauty in mind.
Exposure to water and daily-use chemicals (like soap, perfume, sunblock, etc.) speeds up the breakdown of jewelry plating. To prolong its life, keep your plated jewelry clean and dry. Silver plating is especially prone to cracking and flaking in humidity. Remove plated jewelry before any wet activity, including handwashing, swimming, or sweating at the gym. Store it in a dry place, not in the bathroom. Put it on after applying products like hairspray or perfume, and remove it before bed, especially if you tend to sweat. Keeping it dry is key!
Most of our pieces are hypoallergenic, especially those made with sterling silver and stainless steel materials. If you have sensitivities, feel free to reach out for specific recommendations.
